A suspected paedophile was dragged out of a car and beaten up by a group of women who accused him of attempting to sexually assault a 10-year-old girl

Alex Tocas Huacha was attacked after he was allegedly seen fleeing the child’s bedroom, in Trujillo, northwestern Peru.

He tried to escape the scene in a taxi, but the women – believed to be relatives of the girl – stopped him and pulled him on to the road.

Footage of the dramatic incident shows the women ripping his shirt off and hitting him as he tries to get away.

Police were then called to the scene and Huacha was taken away.

 

The suspect allegedly told officers that he was ‘drunk’ and ‘could not remember anything’ when they questioned him.

It is not known whether Huacha will face charges regarding the alleged attempted sexual assault.
